Women's & Men's Senior
Rowers in the Competitive or Senior squad typically aim at club events ranging from A to D grade. Senior rowers train up to 4 times a week on the water. Rowers develop a high level of proficiency in singles and a range of other boats, depending on the regatta event they are targeting.
Masters
Masters rowers are those who are aged 27 years or over. UNSWRC offers a dedicated squad for both masters women and masters men.
Coxes
Coxes (also know as coxswains) are those who steer fours, quads and eights. In addition to steering, a cox provides vital feedback to the crew through speakers built in to the boat, and can provide some coaching depending on their skill level.
