Ever wanted to try rowing? Well UNSWRC offers the perfect course for you! Our award winning Learn to Row (LTR) course runs for 8 weeks and will introduce you to foundational rowing technique, equipment handling and safety on the water.
The LTR program is completely free of charge and allows each rower to get acquainted with the club and sport before making any form of commitment. The weekly schedule is as follows:

UNSWRC conducts LTR courses in February and September. The sessions are 8:30am-10:30am Sunday for 8 consecutive weeks.
As part of the LTR program you are also invited to join our afternoon fitness sessions on the rowing machine at UNSW Kensington campus a couple of days a week.

They take place at the UNSW Rowing Club Shed. After completing the 8-week LTR course, you will be able to join our Novice squad or one of our Masters squads, depending on your age. Once the 8 weeks are up, you will need to become a full member to continue rowing with us (however your membership fee is discounted by the amount you paid for the LTR course).
