Ever wanted to try rowing? Well UNSWRC offers the perfect course for you! Our Learn to Row (LTR) course will introduce you to foundational rowing technique, equipment handling and safety on the water.
Please note that we offer direct entry into the Novice Squad for UNSW students who sign up at O-week.

UNSWRC conducts several LTR courses throughout the year, with each course running over 8 weekends. The sessions are 8:30am-10:30am Sunday for 8 consecutive weeks.

They take place at the UNSW Rowing Club Shed. After completing the 8-week LTR course, you will be able to join our Novice squad or one of our Masters squads, depending on your age. Once the 8 weeks are up, you will need to become a full member to continue rowing with us (however your membership fee is discounted by the amount you paid for the LTR course).
To sign up for one of the upcoming LTR courses, please complete the LTR form below and send it to the University Captain at least 1 week before the start of your course. Please note that participants MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM to attend this course.
