Coxes

Coxes (also known as coxswains) are those who steer fours, quads and eights. In addition to steering, a cox provides vital feedback to the crew through speakers built in to the boat, and can provide some coaching depending on their skill level.

Coxes are valued extremely highly at UNSWRC. We offer discounted membership and great opportunities to develop your coxing experience across a wide range of boats and crews.

If you're interested in joining as an experienced or first-time cox, please contact the Membership Secretary.
